The Gang Of Thieves-

Go Local Music Camp N Jam Artist Feature!

Can you hear that? It is the sound of Go Local Camp N Jam V coming soon; Saturday June 28th to Sunday June 30th. As a build up to that weekend, we are featuring a few of the musical acts over the next week that you will be able to see at the festival. Our next featured musical act is The Gang Of Thieves.

The Gang of Thieves is a funk rock band from Burlington Vermont. Their original brand of music blends styles from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Primus, and Sublime. They tour relentlessly and have played in almost every state in the union (all the good ones at least… F&^ Iowa). I recently was able to catch the band opening for The Ghost Dinner Band and I was blown away by the infectious beats created by the group. High energy performances with amazing covers and originals are this bands trademark.

A successful Kickstarter campaign earlier this year raised over 10 grand to help fun their brand new album, "Thunderfunk"! The album was recorded in Berkeley, CA with Grammy winning engineer Michael Rosen, who has worked with artists such as Santana, Joe Satriani, Rancid, Papa Roach, and Less than Jake. Hear the band for yourself below.. Click and listen to some tunes. Catch them at Go Local Camp N Jam on Saturday June 29th on the Pleasant Stage at 8:30PM.
